About Don Williams
Don has a long history in competitive cycling and still competes today in the masters category. He rode professionally in Europe from 1972 through 1978 and has raced at the elite level in both road and mountain throughout the United States. Furthermore, Don is a multiple time medalist in Arizona and New York and was a member of the USA Cycling Worlds Team in Cairns, Australia in 1996. As a dedicated sponsor of women’s elite racing, Don and his wife Maggie, owned and directed the Missing Link Coaching Systems p/b Specialized Elite Women’s Racing Team from 2007 through 2011. The team was ranked 4th in the U.S. Women’s Prestige Series and 6th on the National Race Calendar.
