You can ride all year long with Specialized's Defroster Trail Shoes! They're waterproof and feature Thinsulate 400-gram insulation, a seam-sealed internal bootie, and reflective heat barrier to reduce heat loss through the sole. They also boast stiff composite soles for pedaling efficiency and Boa closures for customizing the fit on the fly. Molded lugs give you great traction when you're off the bike, and reflective accents increase your visibility in low light conditions.

Great shoes in terms of warm and dryness. Also very easy to get on and take off. Good traction walking around. But I gave it 3 starts because it rubs painfully due to a convergence of seams just below the inner ankle. I did buy these shows 1 Euro size larger than normal, to accommodate thick winter wool socks. They fit fine, other than the rubbing, which was very painful. Doubt that they will break in in this spot. I need to figure out how to add a pad for my ankle.
